Holistic Health Integration

About Me

Juliana Garcell has studied extensively the traditions of the higher path and spirituality including Yoga, Ayurveda, Native American traditions, and Yoruba. She was certified in Kemetic yoga 200 Hours RYT 7 years ago in 2011 (also known as Egyptian Yoga), then went on to become certified in power vinyasa 200 RYT in 2013. Juliana holds a bachelors degree from the Ayurvedic College of Wellbeing and is a professional Ayurvedic practitioner under the National Association of Ayurveda in the United States, also known as NAMA. She is currently a senior at Florida International University conducting research on Holistic Health, culture, and women's studies.  She has been called to awaken the sacred feminine power through her studies of integration through understanding the human condition through different cultural eyes. Her studies in Psychology, religion, astrology, yoga, Ayurveda, breathing techniques and meditation have allowed her to discover occult wisdom within all of the life forms, which brings a deep feminine intuition, as well as a balance into any classes or workshops being taught.

Mysore India

Yoga has been an extremely important part in my development, evolution, and life in general. The meaning of yoga is to yoke, or unify the mind, body, and spirit. It is a holistic practice that is culturally known to be practiced in India, but has now reached millions around the globe. Mysore happens to be the global capital of Ashtanga yoga. Yoga now has many branches, many lineages, and different paths that can be taken in the "yogic path." There is pranayama, bhakti yoga, karma yoga, and asana practice, each having their own pearls of wisdom to be learned by a student. I would like to really understand the differences between the paths in yoga, and also the cultural difference when practiced religiously, or comparing this practice to the “westernized” worlds view, which would be yoga just for exercise.

Campaign

Fundraiser for children facing mental health issues

I spent a month abroad in Mysore, India learning and immersing myself in the Indian culture. My team & I have joined forces with psychiatrist Dr. Ram Attur in order to broaden the awareness of the fact of teen suicides in India.

Dr. Ram wants to provide training to teachers and staff for the schools on suicide, stress, and mental illness in itself.
Exam time is harsh and deadly with a growing rate of suicide only escalating. Help us make this happen. Help us, help them.
